For All Your Social Ballroom Dance Needs in South Central Virginia.
The Tri-Cities Chapter of USA Dance was formed in late 1997 and we celebrated our 15th anniversary in November 2012. We are dedicated volunteers who love ballroom dancing. A Tri-Cities dance is the event to attend in South Central Virginia to get some fun exercise, see some old friends, make some new ones and dance to great music. Our chapter holds its dances on the second Saturday every month 7:30-10:30pm at the Wesley United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 3701 Conduit Road, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. We start with a 45-minute dance lesson which is taught by a local instructor. Social dancing follows 8:15-10:30pm to a variety of music. From time to time we have theme dances, and once a year we have a special dance at The Lee Club, Fort Lee, Virginia, a reservation-only event.
Our March 8th "Puttin' on the Glitz" dance at Ft Lee was a huge success. This was the Chapter's ninth year having this annual event. Everyone was "dressed to the nines" and looked fabulous. The crowd was entertained by Gwendolyn Glenn's Dance in Class Performance Team and International Style dancers Rose-Ann and Mike Lynch.
Mark your calendars for March 14, 2015 for another dance at Ft Lee, Virginia. You don't want to miss it!
